Kate

Kate is a certified RYT-200 hour yoga and fitness instructor, with experience in group Vinyasa, restorative/Yin, and Sculpt yoga, as well as heavy weight training, barre, and Pilates. She started teaching after decades as a group fitness enthusiast, sports official, and college athlete who had been too embarrassed by her own physique to even try to teach.  Kate’s teaching mission is to empower each student, so she offers levels from gentle mobility to heavy sweat-inducing options, depending on the format. Kate bring an energetic and encouraging style to class, because she believes “the heaviest weight at the gym is the handle on the front door!” Outside the studio, Kate is an energy sales and business development consultant, and the proud mom of two teen boys.
